ABOUT
THE ARTIST · THE STUDIO
The Artist
Timothy Lal is an artist and designer based in Napa, California. His roots are in traditional media: graphite, watercolor, and gouache. He has been drawing sci-fi and fantasy worlds since elementary school, and much of what fills these galleries comes from a universe that has been growing ever since.
Alongside the fine art, Timothy studies drafting and digital design at Napa Valley College, working in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor. That training feeds the Designs section of the site: mechanical assemblies, civil infrastructure concepts, and 3D printed work. The two sides are not separate practices. The drawing hand informs the technical work, and the engineering discipline sharpens the art.
The Studio
Azyreal Arts Studio is the working hub for all of it: fine art, concept art, and technical design under one roof. The Vault holds the galleries. The Labs section holds the studio’s research and development: concepts in infrastructure, systems design, and applied AI moving toward filings and release. The Contact page is open for commissions and collaborations.
The long-term goal is straightforward: keep making, keep learning, and build toward a self-sustaining studio and creative community. Everything on this site is a step in that direction.
